Death lingers near the warrior, who invites it into her arms.
Let not the fear of the end halt you.
Strike true.
A knight without a master. Blood hungry, and drunk on pride.
- Strengths -
Blademaster | Glory is well trained in the art of the blade, specializing in swords but competent with axes. She has distinguished herself with multiple notable duels in the past, defeating even renowned opponents. She is not the greatest fighter in Altera, but she is a proud and talented one.
Shieldbearer | Glory knows how to block a blow well with a shield, preferring round and heater shields.
Skraag's Champion | Glory is a powerful blessed of the Wight. She may conjure magic of blood and flesh, wield flames that deal in rot not burns. She may raise the dead as ghouls. She is faster and stronger than most.
- Weaknesses -
Hesitant Killer | A flaw, or a virtue? Glory, despite her dedication to Skraag, hesitates before killing anyone. Likely to let an opponent get away, she hides her squeemishness behind a facade of honor.
Honorbound | Glory upholds a strict sense of honor, though is bound to no set oath. She believes in camraderie of warriors, and will not disrespect another warrior with underhanded tricks.
Hot Headed | Though Skraag teaches patience, Glory struggles with this tenet and can often lose her temper. She is especially volitile when it comes to matters of honor and pride.
Armor Encumberance | Glory typically fights with a set of armor, and is not the most talented in wearing it. This slows her down, making it harder to fight but keeping her safer.
Unsure Footing | Glory is easily knocked around, and prone to losing her footing. A terrible thing for a duelist.
- State of Being -
Vyre | Glory is a rather powerful vyre, desiring blood in return for power. She is capable of minor vyric feats, such as defying gravity to walk up walls or turning into a cloud of red mist. Precious metal, salt, and flame cause her to catch fire.
Curse of Bones | Cursed for her failure to Skraag, Glory is bound to bones, not flesh.
- The Champion of Skraag -
1. Thou shalt not cause, by action or inaction, the harm of those who have sworn unbroken oaths of fealty to you.
2. Thou shalt not cause, by action or inaction, the total destruction of a soul.
3. Thou shalt not destroy undead of any kind, unless it threaten the first or second oath.
Boons:
Shepherd of the Dead - The undead pay you little mind unless commanded by another.
Strength of the Devoured - Consume the flesh of the still living to gain their strength, agility, and endurance.
Graft - You may attach the body parts of other creatures onto yourself, or artifacts, though they may rot off awhile after.
Power of the Champion - Gain magical abilities. They are able to move faster, be stronger, conjure magical attacks, and overall are more physically powerful than a normal individual. A champion is functionally as powerful as an adept-level mage, before accounting for any artifacts they may have.
- Artifacts -
The Rust Blade | Beautified Artifact
Active Ability: Call the Rust Blade
Even when shattered into countless pieces, the Rust Blade will respond to an Acolyte of Skraag (or higher) who utters a prayer for its aid. Using two emotes in prayer, you may conjure the Rust Blade, an unassuming long sword with a rusty edge, to your person. You may only do so if the Rust Blade is not already in possession of another worthy wielder (Acolyte of Skraag or higher). Despite the decrepit state of the blade, it cuts as sharp as common steel.
Restriction: The Rust Blade may not be used to strike another Blessed of Skraag, or it shatters into dust before doing damage.
