There is no lore team on Hollowworld, and any player can contribute anything they've written to be scoured and reviewed. Other players might weigh in with their thoughts, but ultimately it's my decision. I'll go over what you've written with you, make edits, and if we both like it by the end of that process it will get added to the canon.

Make a note: once something gets added to the canon, it belongs to the canon. You can take it with you if you go somewhere else, but I am under no obligation to remove it for you if you leave. That goes broadly for everything else you write on Hollowworld, too.

Is there any particular format?

No! If you don't like the way I wrote the rest of the canon, write it a different way!

If I'm a returning player, can I contribute old lore I didn't personally write to the canon?

Maybe! Ask me about it directly.

If I'm a returning player and I remember - or in fact have explicit records confirming - the lore being different back in my day. Is what I remember still canon?

Probably not! If it contradicts existing canon, it isn't canon.

Can I propose amendments or additions to existing canon as a lore submission?
