Name: Kari Fletcher
Kari-Kari, Kari the reclaimer, Salvage lord Kari
Meaning Frost-Covered.
Goals:
Confront Frost with a party, No matter what form that ends up taking. Salvage some of her research and stuff, possibly hash something out with her if she's cooperative. Kari doesn't believe she will be cooperative. She's in the planar with more souls around her. This feels Kari with dread but it may coincide with some his goals
Continue to nurture the magic he has, He was informed by his master that splitting up his font would weaken his overall magic. He has an overall goal of making the way he was made into a definitive thing, albeit with more defined parameters. This would require four schools of magic.. There will come a crossroads where he may have to make a choice, lest he figures out he could cheat by being a Magic worshipper.
Avenge Gillsmouth, Continue to make things - Kari lost his home, but his Forge was spared in all the chaos. As of writing this he's a little low on material. He's Eager to make Arrows for the visit to Wherever Frost is. He is unsure if he will return to living there yet, but for sure wants to finish the graveyard, and address the curiosites that are not demonic there.

What is a cutting?
A cutting is just a loose term for someone who is a mortal hewn from magic From another thing, typically it is a corrupted. I intend to outline some details about it, but Sort of feel like it deserves its own post.
Appearance: Kari has moderate Physique from blacksmithing, His recent sparking has given him a small amount of vigor that is apparant in his strides. He has large Icy blue horns borne from how is mother Frost looked when Possessed/pact bound. He sports purple demonic eyes and a black Tail with splotched scar that ends in an arrowtip. This tail doesn't really serve any use though he has a little control over it.
Kari's patchwork craftsmen outfit sometimes has some off patch of color to it, It changes over time so long as he carries his inert focus.
Sometimes, Kari walks without shoes for spell practice. His Toenails are black, but this is from no underlying health issue.
His hair is long and white, and is in a single braid. Sometime in the future, he wants to cut it, but is in no apparent rush to

Age - He doesn't keep track of his birthday, He's probably in his early twenties, and was born into his early twenties.

Life and notes
While Kari is a magical clone of Frost Fletcher, He's not sure who actually helped make him. He lacks a belly button and does not actively broadcast this fact. Kari was separated From his village before the calamity that brought the world to its current state. He tried to return to his village to find it gone.
His education is incomplete and while he has a little knowledge of what a focus is and even what Evists are capable of he doesn't understand the finer workings of the arcane. He knows Animancers are bad, but doesn't really know why. He has not met many mages post calamity other than very recent RP.
He often wonders why his demonic features are so strong and what it spurns from. He is secretly interested in his demonic roots but is under the impression there is immense danger to him. He is used to questions about his appearance.
He does know how to make arrows of various stones, But was never educated how to complete larger bow projects, or the metallurgy needed to make better arrows
Kari's current existence is that of a resourceful bum. He hasn't lived a life that would allow him to have any sort of favorite thing. He finds himself eating small game, fish and wild berries.
4/24 Made a new acquaintance in Maisie. He had his hair braided and he learned a little about lavoyarde's existence. He had an impromptu braiding lesson, and finds himself wondering if he can use this knowledge to make a basket.
4/26 - Kari found a copper tower with a small crew of people. It had an elemental pet from the last mage who was there. Being in a mage tower stirred familiar and uncertain feelings within him. He found a bell, Scribbled the runes it had down, and rung the bell. Syriens appeared. He left the bell with a outwardly presenting Visagite and the Siren who seemed to get along. One of the Siren he interected with gave his horns a firm tap and he's keeping an eye out for her.
4/27 Pre event - Kari made flint spears at the cross waters with the goal of hunting and defending himself. A nosy author made him question his faith.. Are the gods watching them? Protecting them? The world is still here.. yet the mages seem unbothered. The mages don't really seem as bad as he was led to believe.
Post event. Kari checked out a fishing village which he believes is under some greater curse. He helped banish a demon in an object with Halvar and Tekoa.
1 Month later
Kari has fought a dragon, busted his shoulder, and gained a house, Found out his faith is way more serious than he was ready for, He's on track to be a smith but has a choice ahead of himself on what sort of path to walk. The faith closest to what he wanted to do now has a goal of keeping the threats that practically unraveled reality sealed away. With lots of toil and sacrifice tied to it. Kari has had to look after himself a long time, and had a realization that he's an abomination himself. He's now more likely to refer to his creator as Frost than his mother. While it sounds dramatic, he's considering making his own place to disappear to. All of his recent events have made him rethink his lot in life. He is more focused on the mundane until he figures out what wind to ride. Most of the people he's run into who actually knew Frost and remain seem to be mages, So he's considering turning to the arcane to learn more about himself. He's spoken with a few people about the fact he's a clone, and Vita Seemed to pose a good question that has had him ruminating ever since.
He's secluded himself in his house more often for his downtime, and keeps a memorial and grave site there behind his little hovel. He doesn't have much trust in people outside of a select few, and even that is shakey. His worldview needs some time to adjust.
He's starting to ask the important questions about Frost, Learning more about her. He's not sure if she's tough, or just insane.

Kari's home of Gillsmouth was invaded by a group of demons from the start. He worked hard to bury his neighbors, but as the graves were filled the houses were empty. Something made peaceful grounds there from his kind act of burying the dead at the end of the world. The adventurers who helped him and the Doctor Trefor who helped make the cure ensure some survived. But once they had driven them out, the demons stuck by land. Kari, who was freshly sparked was nowhere near his home and had his primary residence destroyed. His facilities however remained.. He just has a lack of supply. I will also take the the time to mention He can work with Embersteel now.
He still needs to recover the remaining bodies and bury them back home, but they're fairly deep and covered in the caves now. He has to stick a pin in it.
Kari spent alot of time getting mines set up in the lands as a whole, even for unlikely people. He would have sent aid whoever he could (Goodwill donation explanation)
During these adventures, kari had a potion crack open in his back pocket that gave him a powerful memory From a woman who slowly fell in love with Asher Varyn in his life before the world fell to ruin, He's a little aware of it, but probably shouldn't be. He intends to confront Asher but is a little focused on his craft. He already plays host to flickerings of memories, so the feeling gives him an odd comfort.
These other memories are small echo of spells, Even a few that Frost never casted, but was just around to see. The people casting them are always blurry, but if a spell was super common, he's likely to have it ring a bell. This doesn't teach him how to cast the spell. The other is just details about objects and materials, and a lot of materials in this era are a little different, so that doesn't really translate over as well.
Sometime before gillsmouth fell, and the New City that popped up within eyeshot of Gillsmouth, Kari was sparked into Formistry By Kethron, An old friend of Frost's. Kari tends to display very basic mastery of Matter and plant life so far. As this was the first school he was sparked into so far, He will age slowly (600) from this point on. his senses are also heightened now. (there's other boons to it, but aging is the big one)
Kari Visits a new city made by a strange angel named Archon. Kari knows he's important, and learned about him from Kethron. He knows Frost trusted him, and has decided to trust him. Ahead of schedule, A party is being made to confront Frost
Kari discovers a few more people and meets Faith temple, His creators Current main squeeze. He has a feeling that her faith will put her at odds with his goals at some point but has decided he likes her until then. He's under the impression she's fairly powerful but thinks that their ambitions shouldn't align. She set him up with some volunteer work at the New City Clinic with someone named Valtae, who he thinks dislikes his appearance or something. They get along. Kari has many questions for faith, as the last chance he had she didn't reveal much. He knows that he was created around the time she was getting ready to evacuate with Frost, From Frostlight. There is clearly more to this story, but he's more worried about dealing with the husk of a corrupted that is Frost.

I've done a fast and loose update to explain why I'm keeping kari Mundane. I'm waiting to see the last divine reveals but Am just stockpiling goodwill and I think no matter what I can make the story interesting.

Fun fact, I can't really delete spoilers, But it's been about four months since I last updated the profile. I wanted to and will probably continue to update it like this until its time to archive it and make something cleaner.
