Recent Events
Confrontation With the Daughter of Grief. Magic fought her best fight, unseen by most. Like with The Grey Lady, her actions went unseen by mundane eyes. Those who could see beyond the veil saw her walk in step with them, her magic devastating to the forces of Corruption.

Visage’s presence could be seen in the absence of other things. At no point was he confirmably there in the flesh, but at night vast draconic wings could be seen in silhouette. Sometimes, in moments of great desperation, pillars of light from the stars themselves seemed to scorch the invaders. Still, in the heat of the main battle where so many were slain, Visage was not there.

The Union of Secrets. What exactly happened isn’t clear. Lady Magic disappeared, and her absence is still largely felt. Divine emissaries claim that she has joined forces with Visage, in marriage no less. And that much is reflected in their tenets and the nature of their blessings. Yet there are questions left unanswered, and little hope of any answer at all.

Tenets
- Allow ignorance to flourish such that the masses, mired in confusion, depend on you for enlightenment. Guide them only when it is to your benefit.
- Be the purest essence of shadow; never attempt to reveal your truest self or intentions, for such an endeavor is impossible on the face of it.
- Pray only to me.

Agenda
The Moon and Stars want their blessed to…

Infiltrate the ranks of other communities. Every age spent within a community where it is not common knowledge that they are a devotee to the Moon and Stars qualifies.

Destroy, or seize, repositories of public knowledge. Anywhere that has a vast sum of knowledge open to the wider population should be destroyed or stolen. Doing so personally, or convincing others to do so on your behalf, qualifies.

Blessings
Devotees of the Moon and Stars change almost not at all. If they look different at all, it should only be in the most subtle of ways, or in ways that could be explained more easily by other means.

All blessed have the following ability:

Inconsistent Voice. When they want it to be so, they never have the same voice in the same spoken breath. The voices can follow a theme, “young woman” or “dockworker” for example, but the voice is always a distinctly different one with each breath. They may always speak in their regular voice as normal, if they wish.

Arcane Exception. They are able to learn and practice arcane magic freely.

As they advance in rank…

Impostor. Devotees are able to learn and practice the abilities of other faiths, as if they were themselves members of that faith. This is only in furtherance of a disguise, and if they are outed to the public at large as not being true members of the faith, they lose those abilities and have half the Goodwill cost refunded.
