SKRAAG
God of Undeath, Envy, Patience, Decay, Murder, and Qlippoth
A desperate man prayed to the gods for relief. His crops were failing, his family starving. The gods heard his plea, but could not grant him relief. He prayed to the gods of order, the gods of good, the gods of prosperity, even prayers to the harvest goddess Sallana went unanswered.
When at last he prayed to Skraag, he found his answer. Skraag, the Lord of Rot and Master of Gifts, had already lent his aid. For Skraag, a gift and a curse are one and the same. This was neither trial nor test, this was not privation, this was the gift of starvation. Of death. And when the man and his kinsmen starved, they were risen again as undead, never to want for anything ever again.
Recent Events
Confrontation With the Daughter of Grief. When the weapon pierced the veil, Skraag was more prepared than most. Ancient and unerring, he had not forgotten the millenia of wars fought against Corruption as the other gods had. Incaluable undead hosts were raised from the earth, but as the other gods charged into battle, Skraag marched elsewhere.
The Collaring of Qlippoth. Into the Hollows, where he sought a different prize. With the rest of the pantheon distracted, the Hollows became a battleground between Qlippoth and Skraag. In the end, with Qlippoth collared, Skraag’s legions emerged after the battle was already won. Corrupted demons scoured the world, and only the occasional bastion of resistance remained. Qlippoth devoured it all: demon, Alteran, even the remnants of some gods.

Agenda
Skraag wants his faithful to...
Entreat the blessed of other gods to abandon their faith and worship him instead. Those followers who convince the blessed of The Grey Lady to do so find themselves rewarded especially handsomely.
Sacrifice powerful beings to him. Powerful on this scale means far more powerful than a mortal. Boss monsters that take an entire cohort of players to bring down qualify.
Raze communities to the ground and sacrifice their dead to him. If all the NPCs of a community's institution perish and are improperly buried, that qualifies. It does not need to be directly by your hand: tricking a third party into attacking in your stead or the like would also qualify.
Blessings
Those who have been blessed by Skraag visibly change. His divine essence makes those infused with it take on a corpselike pallor, and their eyes may change from whatever they were before, to taking on sickly yellows or shades of black and green. In the most extreme cases, flesh may slough off entirely and the blessed become a skeleton solely animated by Skraag’s magic. Whatever you want is on the cards, if you’re not sure then ask a DM first.
All Skraag blessed have the following ability:
Shepherd of the Dead. Undead, unless actively compelled to do so, will have no interest in Skraag’s chosen few. Mindless undead completely ignore them, as if they weren’t there.
Initiates choose one of the following blessings:
Undead Servants. Skraag blessed are able to raise corpses as near mindless undead automatons, who serve out basic functions and commands. They can do anything someone with absolutely no education, training, or experience could do. They cannot be taught to do anything more complex than that. They move slowly, and while quite durable, are so sluggish they are utterly useless during combat. The magic that animates these undead does not sustain them. They continue rotting, and will foul away into uselessness after around a season of activity. More in humid conditions, less in dry.
Strength of the Devoured. Skraag blessed who consume living flesh become stronger, faster, more durable. This must be flesh from a creature still living, and it must have been shorn off within the last minute or so prior to conosumption. The effects gained are proportional to the strength of the creature, and also last longer based on its strength as well. See what happens if you devour a dragon!
For a point of reference, consuming the average human would add the strength of an average human unto themselves and last for only a few rounds of combat.
Acolytes choose one of the following blessings:
Arcane Exception. This character may learn and practice arcane magic. What magic they learn is tainted and infused with Skraag's power, being a hair more powerful than it would be otherwise and markedly distinct from other arcane magic. However, as a precaution against betrayal, Skraag has taken their soul. Their emotions are at best distant, and at worst totally replaced by Skraagish impulses and desires such as envy and indifference.
Commune With the Dead. They may compel corpses and even mindless undead to speak. When doing so, they may ask the undead up to three questions and receive three answers. Two will be right and one will be wrong; you will not be told which is the wrong answer.
Graft. The blessed may fuse their body with other bodies, or even inanimate objects like artifacts. This magic does not sustain any body parts used so they will eventually rot off, but for a while they could fuse with multiple bodies to become a literally huge problem.
Skraagites who choose to advance beyond the rank of Acolyte may choose to become a…
Lich. The character is immortal. They do not age, breathe, sleep, they have no biological functions at all. They have a phylactery that contains their soul, and should they ever die, returns their soul to the phylactery. If it is destroyed, their soul either returns to Skraag or may be captured by sufficiently powerful magic into a new phylactery.
