Morrgen
|
In the old world, Morrgen was a gravedigger. They were good at it, unbothered by the work, and had developed a quiet devotion to the Grey Lady through sheer proximity to death over the years.
When the exodus occurred, Morrgen went with everyone else. The chaos of it suited them poorly, having always preferred the company of the dead to the living. Now in unfamiliar lands, they've started doing what they've always done. There are never a shortage of bodies that need burying.
Morrgen has a small, simple appearance. They stand at just a smidge over 1 metre tall, with their most noticeable feature being their thick braided hair and their purple eyes. They often hide under a large black poncho, which looks like it would be better suited on a normal human. A keen eye could spot tattoos filling out most of Morrgen's left arm - symbols notably devoted to the Grey Lady.

A fast, rules‑lite D100 roleplaying system designed for quick, engaging freeform PvE RP combat.
Each character has three stats: ATK, DEF, and HP.
You have 10 points to allocate to these stats. Each point increases a stat's score by 10. HP starts at 10, ATK and DEF start at 0.
Combat alternates between teams, the Player team and the NPC team. The GM decides which team goes first.
Players may choose Attack or Support on their action turn.
Target a valid enemy listed by the GM. Roll D100 + ATK. Compare your score to Damage Check (DC) set by GM:
Choose 1 of the following:
Skip this turn in PVP; alternate Action turns instead.
The GM states which NPCs are attacking and who they are hitting. Roll D100 + DEF. Compare your score to the NPC's Attack Power (AP) set by GM:
While intended for PvE, BURpS does support PvP. Player teams take turns being the Attacker and the Defender. Defenders roll D100 + DEF to set the DC for attackers. Attackers perform Player Action Turn as normal. Players can amicably work out which team goes first. If players cannot decide which team goes first through amicable discussions, both parties should logout and learn how to act like adults.
