The Hauntings of The Sunken Isles

The archipelago we now call home is rife with forgotten memories and ancient horrors.
Lost spirits, hauntings, and ghost sightings have gone mostly unaddressed, until now.
A new cult is rising, claiming to be channelling the will of an unknown true neutral cosmic entity.
Their goal is to seek out the ghost stories, find their source, and discover their cause to appease their unknown leader.
And now, they're recruiting...

This is an Opt-In thread for all the supernatural things I've got planned.
The events will be hosted from Gillsmouth, but will take place all over our world.
Characters perform 'tasks' for the cult, which they'll do individually or as actual members.
You'll be solving ghost story mysteries throughout our world and getting rid of hauntings one way or another.
Optionally, characters may choose to become a conduit for the cosmic force to channel itself through.
Outcomes and effects vary wildly, nothing is guaranteed, except that the entity will always use a conduit at events.

These options will become events, you will not get extra GW for being haunted.
I consent to:
Character (name) experience haunting by the DM.
Character (name) being haunted by a story from the character's past (specify, see below).
Character's (name) home or town (name and co-ords) being haunted by DM.
Character (name) becoming a conduit to the unknown true neutral cosmic force.

Optionally, I'm looking for characters who have ghosts in their past that might come to haunt them now.
These ghosts are people who carry some form of resentment against the character for what they did.
Example: Asher conquered Gillsmouth and consequently left the villagers to deal with disease and demons on their own.
Some dead villagers might end up having some form of effect on Asher, his home, or even his empire or family.
